RAMSEY, Minn. (August 16, 2010) – Vision-Ease Lens (VEL) recently welcomed David George as its new national mid-size retail manager. David will be responsible for managing mid-size retail sales to ensure that territory growth achieves sales objectives.

David has 25 years of professional sales management experience in the optical industry. Before joining VEL, he served two years at Nassau Vision Group as vice president of sales. Prior to Nassau Vision Group, David served as a regional director of professional sales at Carl Zeiss Vision.

David is excited to be at VEL and was particularly drawn by the company’s depth of products, technology and longevity in the industry. David and his family live in Richmond, Va.
